1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Birdie ("the Service"), provided by Birdie ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Birdie is a golf scoring application available on iOS, Android, and the web. The Service allows users to track golf rounds, manage handicaps, participate in leagues and tournaments, and connect with other golfers.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and promptly update any changes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
Submit false or misleading scoring data
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code, algorithms, or programming interfaces of the Service
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, scrape, or extract data from the Service
Reproduce, mirror, or create derivative works based on the Service or its data
Access the Service through any means other than the official app and website

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Birdie offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe on the web. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are presented at the time of purchase. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective payment platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code comprising the Service are owned by Birdie and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., scores, profile information) but grant us a license to use it in connection with operating the Service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Birdie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via email.
